The organiser of Stone’s Natural Health Fair has revealed that this year’s 10th anniversary event will be her last.
The fairs have been organised brilliantly for the past decade by Sue Weller from Stone’s holistic healthcare provider the Ishta Centre in Kings Avenue. But Sue says she has achieved her ambition for the fairs – to introduce people to the world of complimentary and alternative approaches to health – and that she now wants to concentrate on fundraising activities.

Sue said: “At the end of November’s fair I felt that I had completed my objective and I feel it is now time for me to step down from organising these events and move on to other more fundraising-orientated events. So I will not be organising another Stone Natural Health Fair.
“Over the last 10 years I have personally gained a lot from organising these events. They have, throughout the 10 years, remained on course with our original objective of providing Stone and the surrounding areas with an event where the public could learn about complimentary and alternative approaches to health and wellness care. They have been free to the public to encourage their support and interest and we have had wonderful attendance at all of them.”
“However, if there is someone out there who would like to carry on with it, then I will do my best to help you, so please get in touch. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event, in whatever way.”
