Zeta ladies’ clothes shop in the High Street will have a new owner from September as long-standing owner Sue Greason retires after 11 years.

Tracy Stant from Stone will be stepping in to make sure the shop remains open for its loyal customers – there had been fears that the business would be closing with Sue’s retirement – and will be retaining most of the current brands.

Tracy said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be taking over this independent shop that Stone so desperately needs to keep. Sue has been wonderful over the past few weeks while I prepare to take over and she has helped me every step of the way.

“I am keeping the popular brands Fransa, Cream, Yest and Sandwich but also adding Not Your Daughters Jeans to the collection. Please come along and say hello once I’m open. Sue will be missed by many loyal customers but they will still be able to see her in the shop on Saturdays while she helps Tracy adapt to life on the High Street”.

Sue added: “I would like to thank the wonderful customers who have supported me and my staff over the years, many of whom have become good friends. I wish Tracy every success for the future.”

Sue’s last day of trading will be Saturday 29th August before the shop re-opens for business on Friday 4th September.

All the best to Tracy, and to Sue for a long and happy retirement.
