St. Michael & St. Wulfad’s Parish Church in Stone kicks off its 2023 Summer Concert Series with a line-up of performances that are sure to captivate local music enthusiasts.
The Summer Concert Series gets underway on Saturday, 3rd June, with a performance by the St. Michael & St. Wulfad’s Choir. The choir is renowned locally for its harmonic performances and is a fitting opener for the summer music series.
The concert on Saturday, 8th July will feature the rich bass-baritone voice of Alex Goldsmith, the Director of Music at St. Michael & St. Wulfad’s.
Moving into August, the stage will welcome the Florence Brass on Saturday, the 5th of August. This ensemble’s brass notes will provide an unforgettable performance, offering a different tone to the previous concerts.
The series will conclude on Saturday, 2nd September, with “An Afternoon at the Last Night of the Proms!”. This finale will bring a piece of British tradition to Stone, offering a fitting conclusion to the concert series.
All concerts are scheduled to start at 4pm and entry fees are £5 at the door for regular concerts, with the Proms concert priced at £7.50.
