Support group wins funding for Stone Jubilee art project

Sunflower Family Support Group have successfully bid for funding to run Jubilee art workshops in Stone.

The funding from Arts Council England will be used to put together an exhibition of art work that focuses on mothers around the world and commonwealth as well as celebrating the Queen as a mother.

The workshops will be held every Thursday in May 1-3:30pm at the Church at the Crossing in Stone.

The art work will then be displayed at an event in June which will bring the community together to see the exhibition and free arts and crafts on the day for families to be involved in.
