Following an incident on Meaford Road, Barlaston yesterday afternoon Staffordshire Police have issued a statement.

Police were called at 4.40pm on Thursday (15 April) to Meaford Road in Barlaston following reports of a suspicious incident.
Officers attended and a 14-year-old girl reported that two men in a white van had approached her.
The men departed once they spotted that the victim’s friends were nearby.
The men are described as Romanian, with black hair, both wearing short-sleeved tops and jogging bottoms.
Officers are currently reviewing CCTV footage of the area at the time.
Chief Inspector Giles Parsons, of Stafford Borough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:
“We have increased patrols in Barlaston and the surrounding areas to reassure the local community and are providing assistance to detectives who are investigating this incident.”
