This year’s beer festival at The Swan Inn will feature 60 real ales and 12 ciders from the North East of England, mainly from Northumberland.
The festival – the Stafford Street pub’s sixteenth – kicks off on Saturday 28th June and runs until Sunday 6th July.
As well as the real ales and ciders, which are available from the beer garden bar after buying tokens from the main bar inside, there’s lots of entertainment and live music on offer too:
- Monday 30th June – beer festival comedy night, 8.30pm
- Tuesday 1st July – Festival Quiz, 9.30pm
- Wednesday 2nd July – The Dark Horses, 9pm
- Thursday 3rd July – The Vanz, 10pm
- Friday 4th July – Disturbin’ the Peace, 10pm
- Saturday 5th July – The Umpah Band, 8.30pm
- Sunday 6th July – Lost the Plot, 4.30pm
