The 15th Swan Inn beer festival gets under way on Saturday 29th June – with ales from Scotland taking centre stage this year.
One of the highlights of the real ale lover’s calendar in the town, the festival runs for just over a week until Sunday 7th July.
There will be an amazing 70 ales from Scotland on offer, as well as 15 ciders.
Burgers and bangers are available and there’ll be lots of live music and entertainment too, including the hugely popular oompah band!
- Saturday 29th June: Bulldozer (covers)
- Tuesday 2nd July: Free music quiz with prizes
- Wednesday 3rd July: Dark Horses (covers), 9pm
- Thursday 4th July: The Vanz (classic rock), 10am
- Saturday 6th July: Umpah band, 8.30pm

The real stars of the show will be the real ales though! All the festival beers will be in the outside bar – but make sure you buy tokens from the main bar first. A half costs £1.50.
