Youngsters who are looking to follow in the footsteps of Stone Olympian Lizzie Neave can try canoe slalom for themselves at a junior taster session on Sunday 21st April.
The sessions – which cost just £5 – are taking place at Stafford and Stone Canoe Club on Westbridge Park between 10am and noon, and from 2pm to 4pm. As well as Lizzie – who represented Team GB at London 2012 – eight other club members also represented Great Britain at various international events last year. They all learned to paddle in Stone!
