The circus is back in town – here’s what to expect!

Pinder’s circus has returned to Stone, bringing a mix of old favourites and new acts.  It’s skilful, impressive and above all an entertaining evening.

The show we saw opened with Yuri the clown and his (dis)obedient “dog” (no real animals appear in the show of course).

From there onwards it was non-stop (well, except for the interval!) fun, with displays of artistry and daring and good-natured humour, including a battle of wills between Yuri and the ring-master, Edward Pindar (spoiler – Yuri wins!).

There is, as last year “enforced” audience participation (beyond getting very lightly wet!), with children and adults brought on stage to join in the hard work of entertaining.

There’s an astonishing display of balance (describing it would spoil the fun and you wouldn’t believe it without seeing it).

The show features two daring and graceful young women with separate displays of aerial acrobatics, juggling (at a higher level than your correspondent!), a breakdancing “elephant” and and an escaping “gorilla”

This is great fun for the whole family, and runs until Sunday. https://www.pinderscircus.com/event-details/stone-2025-10-07-18-00
