Chuckle Productions, Stone’s not-for-profit family learning organisation, will take a huge step forward in November with the opening of The Chuckle House at Stone Enterprise Centre.

And local people can have a look around at a special open day on 2nd November.

Founded in 2009, the principal aim of Chuckle is to promote family learning through the arts by giving a foundation to all types of child development (physical, cognitive, emotional and social) via imaginary workshops, theatre and live music. This exciting new project will considerably enhance the organisation’s ability to provide these services to a much wider group of local families. All age groups are catered for, from toddlers to teenagers.

“The opening of The Chuckle House emulates the ethos of Chuckle – we want to be able to help whoever we can, whenever we can, however we can supporting families so that their children can grow in confidence and self-worth, whether that’s exploring music, song writing or film making. With little people, supporting their developmental skills through imaginary journeys, intriguing their little minds by our explore sessions or just baking and making together are all part of the learning process.”

The Chuckle House will also become the home of Chuckle Stars, a Saturday morning project for children and young people with special needs. Supported by a team of highly experienced professionals, they will have the opportunity to explore musical theatre, art and design, providing them with a completely independent hobby.
