Walton floristry shop The Flower Room has been given a new look after the ownership changed hands last year.
Husband & wife team Ross & Alex Evans took over the going concern from the previous owner in July 2019. Alex, having worked in the shop for three years and having 10 years experience in the floristry trade, set about putting her stamp on the venture in August.
Alex says; “It was like a dream come true when we were handed the keys, and since August we have slowly started to refurbish the shop, including a new sign and colour scheme which also led to the new branding. We have new fixtures and fittings and a few new products lines including Yankee Candles and hand made items from local suppliers.”
Working alongside Alex are three very talented florists; Ann Marie, Debbie and Jess with over 40 years of experience combined,
Alex adds; “We are all here to create and guide you through any floral needs including; weddings, funerals, bouquets and arrangements for any occasion. We’ve also included a gorgeous foliage wall as the key feature, this Is a taster of the other side of the business which specialises in silk floral arrangements and installations within retail premises.”
Based outside the town centre in the Walton shopping area on the Eccleshall Road, Alex invites anyone curious to see the new look to pop in and say hello, and is looking forward to continuing to build their relationship with the local community.
