During the 2021 lockdown, Aston Marina has been busy expanding its hugely popular No.26 Bar and Dining experience with the addition of ‘The Hideaway’ – an elegant self-contained dining room.
In 2020 Aston Marina launched their waterside “Dome Dining” pods as they evolved in the Covid world – Aston Marina opens Dome Dining.
During the 2021 lockdown, the team have continued to adapt by creating ‘The Hideaway’, an elegant self-contained dining room designed to evoke a relaxed and refined atmosphere.
About ‘The Hideaway’ Aston Marina says:
‘The Hideaway’ offers the perfect backdrop to smaller celebrations, family gatherings, business meetings and private dining events. Complete with its own dedicated kitchen and equipped with a bank of state-of-the-art business technology that is cleverly tucked away out of sight when not in use, this is a versatile space that fills a distinct gap in the market.
Aston Marina Director Helen Clayton explains the reason for the addition:
“We’ve noticed a lot of enquiries coming in for smaller, more intimate event spaces for which neither our larger Boat House venue or the main No.26 restaurant fit the bill. It seemed a natural progression to expand the restaurant with a self-contained dining room with its own facilities.
‘The Hideaway’ is the result and has been designed to accommodate up to 50 guests. It’s perfect for anything from formal business meetings to landmark birthday parties, celebrations of life, elegant hen parties, baby showers, Christenings – and pretty much anything else where you want to gather a small crowd to celebrate.
“We’ll also be hosting VIP events such as gourmet tasting nights, black tie dinners and workshops in the venue, so can’t wait to welcome guests back to the marina and see it in use.”
As of Monday 12th April, the marina re-opened to offer outdoor dining options, including The Courtyard restaurant-style dining and Quayside take-out style dining alongside a daily takeaway service and its legendary heat-at-home Sunday roast dinners.
