While food and drink will be at the heart of festivities at Westbridge Park on the 5th, 6th, and 7th July, live music will also play a massive part in creating the party atmosphere at the 2024 Stone Food & Drink Festival.
This year, Joule’s Brewery is sponsoring the Live Music Stage, which will feature a great lineup of diverse acts to keep the crowds entertained over the three days.
Friday afternoon will see entertainer Kenyon Walker warm up revellers with renditions of hits from across the decades and the genres, singing everything from Motown and Soul to 70s glam, indie rock and party tunes. From 5.30pm – 6.45pm Fools Life will then take centre stage; getting the weekend started with covers of classic dance floor fillers.
On Saturday and Sunday from 12.30pm – 1.15pm young stars from Stone’s Rooftop Studios performing arts academy will showcase their talent. On Saturday they will be followed by Ellie Jones and the Giants will play from 2.00pm – 3.00pm drawing on a set list that includes Earth Wind & Fire, Wheatus, Dolly Parton, The Specials, TLC, Tom Jones, B*Witched & Bon Jovi to name a few! From 3.30pm – 4.00pm on Saturday, the local branch of Rock Choir will perform harmonious versions of some of rock’s most enduring anthems before making way for Saturday headliners Legends of Sound who, from 4.45pm – 5.45pm will play a blistering set bringing back the nostalgia of 80s stadium rock and ensuring everyone leaves the festival in a party mood ready to carry on celebrating in town.
Sunday’s bands include acoustic soloist Bella Littlehales Music, who will play from 1.30pm – 2.30pm, followed by Irish themed trio Sac n Craic who will perform traditional songs in their very unique way. Covers band The Kilns will close the event from 4.45pm – 5.45pm with a setlist that includes hits from Madness, Pulp, The Beatles, Queen, Robbie Williams – and pretty much everything in between!
Access to the Joule’s Brewery Live Music Stage is included within the entry to the main Stone Food & Drink Festival on Westbridge Park, alongside the gourmet shopping village, stalls selling a great range of street food, bars selling everything from locally brewed ales to cocktail & fizz, cookery demonstrations from top local chefs, talks & tastings and family fun.
