In exchange for a donation to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, local businesses can get an hour of maintenance work done on Friday 4th December.
When the building team at Xtenda got together to discuss their charity activity for this year, they were quick to choose Dougie Mac.
[box type=”shadow” align=”aligncenter” ]”My mum worked hard to support the Douglas Macmillan Hospice over the years, and sadly died from leukaemia in 2008,” said team member Richard Lowe. “It would be lovely if we could raise some money for the hospice in my mum’s name.” [/box]
So, in memory of Richard’s much-loved mum Mary Lowe, and for all those whose mothers have been helped by Dougie Mac, Xtenda are offering a full day’s work for free.
If you have shelves which need putting up, or a dripping tap is driving you crazy, or wonky door hinges, or a plug socket in need of repair… you decide – get in touch!
All they ask is that instead of paying their call-out fee of £40, a decent donation is popped in the box for Dougie Mac – and 100% of all monies raised goes straight to the hospice.
Businesses, schools, service providers and retail outlets in Stone, Stafford or Stoke-on-Trent which have minor maintenance issues can book a one-hour slot with their charity team for Friday 4th December, and they will attempt to fix as much as they can, there and then.
Call the Xtenda office on 01785 817981 to book your preferred appointment time and allow the team to arrive with you as prepared as possible.
