Our thoughts are with the friends and family of Phil ‘Skinny’ James, who died after being hit by a train in Stone.
Phil, who was 19, died in hospital on Tuesday (9th September) after the incident near Stone station on Sunday 7th September.
Flowers and Stoke City shirts and scarves have been left at the level crossing near The Talbot pub, and friends have been sharing photos and stories in a special Facebook group.
Phil, who was a big Robbie Williams fan, received a tribute from the Potteries pop superstar himself on his website earlier this week – see HERE. Robbie wrote: “Save me a pint in heaven youth. Gone too soon, We’ll all miss you.”
A police investigation into Phil’s death is continuing.
