Two males detained after break in at Stone Scout Hut

Police detained two males in Stone on Sunday 30 November after officers were called to a report of a break in at a local Scout Hut.

Two Staffordshire Police officers in uniform, one facing away wearing a vest marked "POLICE", and the other slightly out of focus in the background beside a patrol car.

The call came in at around 8.55 pm. Officers were sent to the scene and detained the two males shortly after arriving.
They were interviewed over the matter and enquiries remain ongoing.

Police statement

A short update has been issued, via the Staffordshire Smart Alert sysyem,
“On Sunday 30th November at around 20:55 Police were called to a report whereby suspects had broken in to a Scout Hut in the Stone Area.

Officers attended and detained 2 males on scene, they have now been interviewed over the matter and enquiries are ongoing.”
