This November, Stone based artist Ed Jeavons presents Unearthed, a solo exhibition of new paintings at the Stone Heritage Centre.

Through layered abstraction, Jeavons explores painting as a process of excavation — building, eroding and unearthing surfaces in search of something previously unseen or felt. The works suggest landscapes without depicting specific places, offering instead a space for reflection on memory, material and belonging.
The exhibition opens with a Private View on Thursday 6 November, 6–8pm and runs until Saturday 29 November (open Thursday–Saturday, 11am–4pm).
Following the exhibition, students from local schools and colleges will present ‘Creative Responses to Unearthed’ (8–20 December), showcasing work made in workshops led by the artist.
Venue: Stone Heritage Centre (Joules Fire Station), 13 Newcastle Street, Stone, ST15 8JX
Dates: 6–29 November 2025 (Thurs–Sat, 11am–4pm)
Private View: Thursday 6 November, 6–8pm
