Victorian theatre night to bring Jack the Ripper tale to Stone

A night of Victorian theatre inspired by the enduring mystery of Jack the Ripper is coming to Stone this February, with all proceeds supporting repairs at a local church.

The event is being presented by St Michael and St Wulfad’s Church PCC and will feature the production Truly, Jack the Ripper?, performed by the award winning theatre group Don’t Go Into The Cellar.

The performance will take place on Saturday 21 February 2026 at St Dominic’s Social Centre in Stone. Doors open early, with the bar opening at 6.00pm ahead of the performance beginning at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £18, with all profits going towards the St Michael and St Wulfad’s Church Fabric Repair Fund.

Organisers say the evening is intended to be both entertaining and supportive of a local cause, offering residents something a little different from the usual programme of events in Stone.
