This April, 46 pupils from Walton Priory Middle School are diving deep into a Half Ironman challenge to raise funds for two brilliant causes.
Not to rest on their laurels, the class of 2024 are taking things up a notch. This year, the children will swim 1.2 miles, cycle 56 miles, and run 13.1 miles. Why? To make a real difference.
A Mighty Challenge for Mighty Causes
They’re not just aiming to cross a finishing line; they’re on a mission to lift up YoungMinds, a charity fighting for children’s mental health, and to revamp their own school hall. It’s about helping minds and spaces where they learn and grow.
Why It Matters
- YoungMinds: Every kid deserves to feel okay. Supporting this charity means giving a lifeline to those who need it.
- School Hall Spruce-Up: It’s where all the school action happens! A better hall means a better place for the kids to be their best.
How Can You Help?
Remember how we all cheered last year? Let’s double that energy. These kids are showing us what bravery looks like, tackling a beast of a challenge for causes that hit close to home.
Every cheer, every share, and every penny counts. Let’s get behind them, donate what we can, and spread the word. This is about more than just a race; it’s about showing these children that we’re right there with them when they put their hearts into something.
Let’s support them every step, pedal, and stroke of the way – please, if you can, consider making a donation -> Fundraising Challenge 2024
