West End SIX star Laura Pyatt returns to Rooftop Studios to lead masterclass

Young performers in Staffordshire will have the chance to train with a West End star this spring, as Rooftop Studios welcomes Laura Pyatt, who played Anne Boleyn in the UK and International Tour of the smash-hit musical SIX, for a special masterclass.

Taking place on 19th April 2026 at Rooftop Studios in Stone, the high-energy session will give dancers aged 7–18 the opportunity to enjoy a queen-inspired drama workshop and take part in a Q&A session about life in the professional theatre industry.

Laura’s visit is particularly special for the studio, as she began her own performing journey as a student at Rooftop Studios in Stone before going on to train at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.

She has since built an impressive career across theatre, television and concerts. Her stage credits include SIXBat Out Of HellOrdinary Days and Aladdin at the Lyric Hammersmith, as well as major musical theatre events including West End Live and Magic at the Musicals at the Royal Albert Hall.

Studio Director Laura Keeling said:

“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Laura back to Rooftop. She started her journey here as a student herself, so it’s really inspiring for our current dancers to see someone who trained in our studio go on to perform in one of the biggest musicals in the world.

Opportunities like this allow our students to learn directly from performers working at the very highest level of the industry.”

Two sessions will run on the day – 12pm–2pm – Ages 7–10 and 2.30pm–5pm – Ages 11–18. Following the success of the studio’s Wicked masterclass earlier this year, places are expected to fill quickly.
