A ‘wicked’ workshop that took place in Stone on Saturday 19th February saw almost 100 local youngsters pick up some top tips from West End star Ashleigh Grey.
Ashleigh, whose numerous musical roles have included a spell in Wicked at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre, led two 90-minute workshops at Rooftop Studios in the town. Eighty youngsters attended the workshops.
Principal Elaine Bird said: “Ashleigh was brilliant – she kept the students enthralled throughout the workshops, giving them plenty to work on including acting improvised scenes and working on songs and dances from the musical Wicked.
“There was also a Q&A session with very active audience participation – the children were all really keen to find out more about Ashleigh’s career and how to break into the profession.”
