
The list of candidates for the 2025 Staffordshire County Council elections has now been released – here’s who’s standing to represent the Stone area.
County council elections coming to Staffordshire this May
Voters across Staffordshire will head to the polls on Thursday, 1st May 2025 to elect new representatives to Staffordshire County Council for the next four years.
Locally, you’ll be voting in one of three new divisions: Stone Urban, Stone Rural North, or Stafford Trent Valley. Each division will elect one councillor, and every voter has one vote to choose the person they think best represents their area.

What does a county councillor do?
Staffordshire County Council is responsible for many of the services that affect everyday life, including:

The person you elect will be your voice at the county level, helping to shape policy and raise issues that matter to your community.
