Nature lovers are being given the chance to find out more about the county’s wildlife at a special talk on Friday 28th February.
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust will be giving a talk on ‘Secret Staffordshire’ at Outlon Village Hall between 7.30pm and 9pm. The talk will go into detail about the wildlife that live on the Trust’s 26 nature reserves.
Scott Petrek, monitoring officer at Staffordshire Wildlife Trust who’s giving the talk said, “This is a wonderful chance for people of all ages to learn about this county’s amazing wildlife, from badgers to barn owls, deer to ducks. And with all proceeds going towards the work of the Trust on the reserves, you’ll be helping this county’s wildlife as well as learning about it.”
The talk is organised by the Trust’s Stone Local Group, one of 10 local groups spanning the county which hold hundreds of events each year to raise funds for the nature conservation charity.
Admission costs £2.50 per person (children 50p), with all proceeds going towards the work of the Trust. Oulton Village Hall is located on Kibblestone Road, Oulton, ST15 8UJ.
