Driver seeks information from anyone who saw the incident
The collision happened at around 8.30 am on Wednesday 3 December near the give way markings on the Mount Road railway bridge, the stretch that leads out of Stone past the Warburtons site.

An A Little Bit of Stone reader advised that their partner was driving over the bridge when a white van struck her car. The van driver did not stop and continued towards the town. The incident has now been reported to Staffordshire Police.

In a short statement shared with us, they said,

“My partner got hit by a white van at about 8.30 this morning. It was on the road leaving Stone after Warburtons factory.

The driver did not even stop, just drove off.
It is being reported to the police.

We are just hoping other people may have information on a white van driver driving erratically in Stone.”

The bridge is a narrow point on Mount Road where drivers often slow to negotiate the give way system. Local residents will know the bend well!

Appeal to the community
Anyone who was in the area around 8.30 am, especially motorists with dashcam footage, are encouraged to come forward.
