Free vehicle winter safety checks in Stone

Free vehicle winter safety checks are being held at Morrisons supermarket  on Thursday 18th November.

Officers from Stone Neighbourhood Policing Unit (NPU), working with the Roads Policing Team, will be on hand at the store in Mill Street between noon and 4pm, checking vehicles and giving advice and guidance to motorists.

Officers will also be providing motorists with a free ice scraper or di-icer.

PC Kate Scott from Stone NPU said: “Road safety is a priority for Staffordshire Police and with the winter weather now upon us it’s important that vehicles’ lights and tyres are checked regularly. We’d encourage local drivers to come along and visit us on Thursday.”
