Students at Alleyne’s High School in Stone joined hundreds of thousands of students around the country in receiving their A-Level results this morning.
Beth Cartwright, above, a student from Alleyne’s High School, was one of those who achieved 4 A-Levels, including a Distinction Merit. Beth is going to study psychology and criminology at Nottingham Trent University.
Karen Locket, the headteacher at Alleyne’s, said: “More students have left with more points and the school has received its best points score. I’m delighted for the students.”
The school also received their best A2 results, with 34% of students achieving three or more B to A* grades and 91% of students also got their first choice or first insurance choice university.
