The 25th anniversary of the Stone town bonfire and fireworks went with a bang on Saturday night, with thousands of people treated to a spectacular display.

The bonfire – which had been built by the town’s Army Cadets – was huge, with a flaming ’25’ sitting on top to mark the occasion! The firework display, perhaps one of the best seen in Stone, included an exploding heart that lit up the sky.
