Two opportunities have opened up for food and drink traders in Stone’s Westbridge Park.
Stafford Borough Council is inviting tenders from experienced operators to provide refreshments from the play area within the park.
Both tenders run to the same closing date of 12.00pm on Friday 13 March 2026.
Hot and cold drinks mobile vehicle
The first tender is for a mobile vehicle selling hot and cold drinks from within the play area.
The council says it is seeking a high quality, experienced operator to run the service.

Ice cream and summer treats
A separate tender has also been issued for an ice cream van.
This operator would be expected to sell ice cream, ice lollies and slush drinks from the same location in Westbridge Park.
Again, copies of the tender document are available via adale@staffordbc.gov.uk, with applications closing at 12.00pm on Friday 13 March 2026.
The two contracts could provide a regular presence in the park during busy periods, especially at weekends and during school holidays.

Good idea but let’s hope the are also plenty of bins that get emptied to cope with the empty cartons , cups etc that will be generated. Could become a bit of an issue.
