1st Stone Scouts is looking for new members to join its Wednesday evening Scout section at Westbridge Park.
The group’s latest recruitment appeal says it is open to boys and girls aged 10 to 14, with meetings taking place on Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.
Based at The Old Pump House at Westbridge Park, the group offers a range of activities including camping and hiking, map reading and navigation, outdoor activities, crafts, teamwork and problem solving.
Young people do not need previous experience of camping or other outdoor activities to take part.
The group says Scouts also gives members the chance to learn new skills, take on challenges and make new friends.
Anyone interested in joining 1st Stone Scouts is being encouraged to message the group to find out more.
The official Scouts website lists 1st Stone as 1st Stone (Christ Church), with its Scout section meeting at The Old Pump House on Wednesday evenings during term time. Scouts
