Staffordshire Police have issued a more detailed appeal after a purse was stolen from a shopper at Marks and Spencer in Stone.

Police say a woman was shopping in the Westbridge Park store at around 11.15am on Sunday 23 August when a purse was taken from her handbag.
PCSO Lisa Powell, from the Stafford local policing team, said officers believe the same suspect may also have taken a purse from another woman in the store at around the same time, although police say no further incident has been reported.
No description of the suspect has been provided by police.
The latest appeal follows an earlier police alert which said officers had received several reports of purses being taken from bags while people were shopping in Stone town centre.
Staffordshire Police has not explained in the latest update whether those earlier reports are connected to the theft now being investigated at Marks and Spencer.
PCSO Powell said
“We believe the suspect may have taken another purse from another woman in the store at a similar time, although no further incidents have been reported.
“If you were in Marks and Spencer, Stone, at this time, please check you have all of your belongings. You can report theft by calling 101 or using Live Chat on our website.”
Anyone who was in the store at around 11.15am on Sunday is being asked to check their belongings and contact police if they believe anything is missing.
