
Police in Stone are looking at moving into the nearby town council offices when their station in Radford Street is closed.
Chief Inspector Paul Trevor, Stafford Borough Local Policing Team Commander, says the force is currently looking at alternative premises at the Stone Town Council offices but that discussions are at a very early stage.
The Chief Inspector has written an open letter to people in the town in the latest force newsletter about policing in Stone, which you can read below.

Chief Inspector Paul Trevor and Chief Superintendent Jon Drake, the head of community policing for Staffordshire Police, will be at the meeting.
