To get everyone in the festive mood this December Stone Town Council have organised a Christmas market shopping event in Stone High Street
Taking place on Wednesday 6th December the people of Stone and the wider area are invited to visit the town to enjoy the exclusive range of craft, food and other local stalls, which will be open between 4pm and 9pm.
In addition to the market stalls many of Stone’s unique High Street shops will also stay open late into the evening offering a wide selection of exciting merchandise. The atmosphere of the night will be completed by music from the Florence Brass band, and entertainment for children.
Councillor Jill Hood, Vice-Chairman of the Council’s Tourism and Town Promotion Sub-Committee said:
“If you want a memorable evening out, don’t miss the Stone Christmas shopping event. Browse the stalls, visit the local shops, enjoy the entertainment, and finish off the evening in one of
the town’s fine eateries. Bring your friends and family for a night you will all remember.”
A similar event took place in 2016, that time organised by the High Street traders, and was a great success – http://alittlebitofstone.com/2016/12/08/late-night-shopping-event-a-success/
It’s sure to be another great night and who knows, this man may pop along again!
