No prior climbing experience is required as each session starts with a safety briefing. Climbers then go through a harness fitting before being taken out to the climbing arena.
20 different and challenging climbing walls will be available for visitors to try. There is even a face to face climbing wall so you can challenge your friends to a climb-off! With names like Astroball, Speed climb, Big Cheese and Treetrunk we can’t wait to try them out!
For those seeking even more thrills, there’ll be a massive drop slide which will hoist you up until you let go. How long dare you hang of for, all the way to the top?
Visitors will have 1 hour in the climbing arena and all safety equipment is included in the session.
A state of the art automatic belay device is used to take up the slack as you climb. Once you reach the top or a level you’re comfortable with, it will then lower you gently down to the ground.
From young to old, the centre is open for everyone! Young children can climb with an adult and if it all gets too much there’s a soft play area for them to explore. This is particularly useful if you’ve got mixed age siblings who may otherwise have to miss out.
Once you’ve finished climbing there’ll be a cafe on site serving a range of sandwiches and drinks.
If it’s a special occasion then the centre can host your party too! Party bookings of up to 20 people will be a great way for friends or workmates to challenge one another.
