Jim was first elected to Stone Town Council in 2015 and has been Town Mayor for an unprecedented two consecutive terms. He worked tirelessly to promote the image of Stone throughout the local area and beyond and is particularly delighted that the Crown Wharf development, which he publicly suggested as soon as he became Mayor, is now becoming reality. He also instigated both the regular Parish Liaison Group meetings, which bring together our neighbouring parishes with the town, and the annual appointment of Mayor’s Cadets to strengthen the links between the youth of the town and the council.

How will you keep in touch with your constituent’s concerns?
We are highly contactable through phone, email and social media including our website and FB pages. We welcome being approached to listen to residents’ concerns. Serving councillors are active in working with local residents and residents groups.
