Stone Banking Hub, currently operating from the Frank Jordan Community Centre, is set to establish its permanent home at the former Betfred site at 42–44 High Street in mid-2025.
Building work is already underway, with the new central location providing easy access for residents and local business owners.
Speaking exclusively to A Little Bit of Stone, a spokesperson for Cash Access UK, who operate the banking hubs, said:
“Subject to contracts, we’re delighted to confirm the permanent banking hub is due to be located at 42-44 High Street, Stone ST15 8AU.
Work is now progressing and we hope to be able to open the Hub in its new home towards the middle of next year.
In the meantime, our hub in its temporary location at the Frank Jordan Community Centre will continue to provide everyday cash and face-to-face banking services for the community.”
Stone Banking Hub – Services Offered
The Stone Banking Hub will continue to offer the same services as the temporary one does:
- Counter Services: Available Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, operated by the Post Office.
- Community Banker Service: Rotate daily with different banks, offering more personalised face-to-face services:
- Monday – NatWest
- Tuesday – HSBC
- Wednesday – Santander
- Thursday – Lloyds
- Friday – Barclays
Please note that community bankers may be unavailable during lunchtime as they take a well-deserved break.

- Deposit cash (notes and coin)
- Deposit cheques
- Pay utility bills
- Check account balance
- Collect change (registered business customers)
