Arcadia Cafe

A traditional cafe just off Stone High Street. Grab a coffee and table and watch people pass by.

Artisan Boutique and Kitchen

This High Street hub has earned a reputation for exceptional coffee and homemade treats. “They do a delicious caramel oat milk latte,” says Rachel, while Maurice praises their “super cakes.” The café welcomes remote workers, well behaved dogs and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Bear

A firm favourite among coffee connoisseurs, Bear consistently receives praise for its expertly crafted beverages. “Best coffee in town by far!” enthuses Lau. Chris, a self-proclaimed cappuccino fanatic, particularly recommends their perfect consistency.

BOD

This dog-friendly establishment has won hearts with its quality coffee and welcoming atmosphere. “Their latte is superb,” says Lee, while Dianne appreciates how “the staff always give my dog treats.”

Costa

A big chain High Street favourite with a strong community feel. As Rob shares, “it’s not just about price, it’s about meeting friends new and old,” and he particularly enjoys people-watching from the window seats.

Crown Hotel

A historic venue with surprising charm, offering excellent value. Lesley shares a touching perspective: “We had our wedding reception there 58 years ago. They serve lovely latte coffee in traditional tall glasses with biscuit at £2.50 each.”

Granvilles

A well-established Stone venue adding to the town’s diverse coffee offerings. People watch as residents, visitors and workers go about their business.

Little Dots

This family-friendly café gets particular praise for its fresh grinding approach and welcoming atmosphere for parents with little ones. Ali recommends it as “the only place in Stone where I enjoy the coffee – freshly ground and never bitter.”

Mishka Truffles

Perhaps the most mentioned café in our survey, Mishka Truffles, has carved out a special place in Stone’s coffee scene. “The coffee is smooth, and you get lovely truffles too,” says Angela. Marianne adds that “the price range is spot on for Stone.”

Poste of Stone (Wetherspoons)

Offering unbeatable value with bottomless coffee from £1.56, this venue provides a spacious environment for early-morning coffee seekers. Steve notes it’s suitable for remote working, though power outlets are limited.

Sanctuary Dance Venue

A unique spot offering more than just coffee, The Sanctuary receives praise for its welcoming atmosphere. Barbara recommends it for “wonderful coffees and a really friendly welcome.”

Secret Tea Room

This charming venue earns praise for its personal touch. “Gaynor and Donna are so welcoming and get to know their customers,” shares Rosie, who says she feels “really spoilt” when visiting.

Ten Green Bottles

Known for consistently good coffee, this establishment gets particular praise for both its regular and decaf options. “Great coffee and terrific service,” says Simon, while Gill confirms both “their caffeinated and decaffeinated coffees are good.”
