The Stone Street Food event is back this week, with the first date of the 2026 season set for Friday 17th April on the High Street.

The popular event has become a regular fixture in the town over the warmer months, drawing people into the centre for an afternoon and evening of food, drink and a busy High Street atmosphere.
Organisers say visitors can expect a mix of street food, local traders and plenty going on across the town centre as the new season gets under way.
Friday’s event is the first of five dates confirmed for this year, with more evenings planned for Thursday 19th June, Thursday 17th July, Thursday 21st August and Thursday 18th September.
For Stone, it is one of those events that tends to spill right across the High Street, with people stopping for food, having a wander and making the most of the town on a spring and summer evening. It also gives local businesses a boost, with extra footfall in the centre as the event runs from 3:00pm – 9:00pm.
The return on Friday marks the start of another run of monthly events that have built up a strong following in recent years. While the food is the main draw, the appeal is often just as much about the setting, with the High Street filling up as people meet up and spend time in town.
Anyone planning to head along is being encouraged to bring friends, bring an appetite and make an evening of it.
More dates are already in the diary, so Friday’s event will not be the only chance to catch it this year, but it will be the first proper taste of the season on Stone High Street.
