A Stone businesswoman will be knocking local entrepreneurs into shape with a business boot camp that starts in March.
Business consultant and coach Alison Bradford has introduced the Rock Your Business support programme as a recent report from the Office of National statistics (ONS) revealed a 367,000 increase in the number of people becoming self-employed since the start of the recession in 2008.
Mum-of-two Alison said: “Typically, one in three businesses fail in their first year, and only 44% survive past the first four years. My coaching programme has been designed to help give business owners that much needed time to do a business health check; identify any barriers or issues to overcome, and, importantly, to have someone to work alongside them to hold them accountable for the actions they need to take to achieve their ambitions for growth.”
The ‘boot camp’ programme gets under way with a one-day workshop held in conference facilities at The Wayfarer in Stone on 7th March, continuing with a combination of Skype and face-to-face sessions over an eight-week period. It costs £245 if booked before the end of February.
