Really sad news from Panda Press. Their receptionist of 24 years Michelle Beardmore (nee Mills) lost her battle with cancer recently.
Michelle passed away in the early hours of Saturday 16th February at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Michelle was diagnosed late last year, just a couple of weeks before she married husband Mark.
Panda Press posted on their website: “Deeply loved wife of Mark, daughter of June and sister of Netty. Her compassionate spirit remained undimmed by her illness and the world is a lesser place for her loss. Selfless and kind hearted, she will be missed by a great many. Michelle worked at Panda Press for more than 24 years, she was one of the family, we will never be the same without her.
“The funeral will take place at St Michael and St Wulfad’s Church, Stone, on Thursday 28th February at 12.15pm. Panda Press is having a collection in Michelle’s memory, with all proceeds going to cancer research, if you would like to donate, please pop in.”

Such a sad loss we met Michelle a few times over the years she was as you say a lovely lady.
