
Children can enjoy a wide range of sports courses and activities this summer with the ‘Go Get Out’ holiday activity programme run by Stafford Borough Council.
There’s lots going on in Stone from 22nd July to 30th August, including:
‘Active 8’ and ‘Tri-Active’ sessions for eight to 14-year-olds at Alleyne’s Sports Centre. Full-day sessions with loads of sports, including football, rounders, lacrosse, handball, dance mats and the giant inflatable obstacle course in the pool!
A Footie Fest for five to 13-year-olds at Alleyne’s Sports Centre on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th July
Mobile skate park at Springfields First School in Yarnfield on Friday 26th July and at Walton Priory Middle School on Friday 23rd August
A mobile skate park coaching session for seven to 14-year-olds at Stone Youth & Community Centre on Station Road on Monday 29th July
A Cycling Skills Activity Day at Alleyne’s Sports Centre on Monday 19th August
A Cycling Bikeability course at Alleyne’s Sports Centre on 12th August
A snorkelling course at Alleyne’s Sports Centre from Monday 29th July to Friday 2nd August (children must have ASA stage two)
