As you can see in the photos, the rain didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of the willing volunteers who are helping to transform the community allotment plot in Priory Road ready for its scheduled launch next Spring.
A huge well done and thank you from Stafford and Rural Homes and Stafford Borough Council to everyone who turned up and supported the Community Clean Up Day on 29th May (https://alittlebitofstone.com/2015/05/20/community-clean-up-at-priory-road-allotment/)
A further clean up day event will be held on Friday 7th August from 10am to 4pm, once more at the allotment site. Get your wellies on in order to continue clearing the site ready for growing. Bring your family and friends, everyone is welcome so please spread the word and speak to any other interested community groups. The more the merrier!
