To take advantage, you must live in the postcode areas ST12 or ST15 and if you are:

  1. in receipt of a state pension;

Why would you not get your cat or kitten neutered?

Female cats do not need to have “one litter” – this is an old wives’ tale! The recommended start age for neutering within Cats Protection is four months. Male or ‘tom’ cats who are un-neutered will spray urine to mark their territory (including within your home) and are more likely to stray or become injured.

There are already far too many unwanted cats and kittens in the UK.  Neutering is the way to go for responsible cat owners.

Please call into the Stone Cats Protection charity shop in the High Street for neutering vouchers, or visit www.cats.org.uk for more information.

In 2014, Cats Protection helped neuter 163,000 cats including 28,000 ferals, making them the largest single cat neutering group in the world.
