Thousands of pounds were raised for local good causes on Santa’s sleigh tour of Stone in the run-up to Christmas.
Stone Round Table’s tour took in eight different areas of the town and raised just over £4,000 as local people gave generously.
The Round Table group say they’d like to cover even more parts of the town for Christmas 2016 but rely on local volunteers getting involved to make that happen. If you’d like to volunteer your time, please email stoneroundtable@gmail.com
Meanwhile, the Rotary Club of Eccleshall Mercia’s Santa sleigh tour visited Swynnerton, Yarnfield, Tittensor and Eccleshall in December and raised £2,200.
