Santa raises hundreds for Rotary charities

Stone Rotary’s Santa Sleigh was in the High Street on Saturday 18th December helping Rotarians to collect donations for the many good causes supported by the club.

On a very cold day, with a morning snow storm, the club collected £493 from passers by, and helped with the magic of Christmas for the many children who met Santa and told him what was on their Christmas present list.

The previous Saturday he had stopped off in Morrison’s car park for a few hours and helped Club members to collect £205.

Stone Rotary Clubs president Les Mason thanked the generous people of Stone who had contributed so readily.
