Gymnastics silver success for Jasmine and Megan

Christ Church Academy’s gymnasts have been showcasing their talents at the West Midlands Gymnastics Acro Championships, with one pair bringing home silver medals.

The 14 talented gymnasts competed against pairs from across the region in the under-11 and under-14 age categories.

Amongst the girls representing the Academy were Jasmine Lovatt and Megan Chesters who achieved a fantastic silver medal.

[box type=”shadow” ]Helen Marsden, the Academy’s Head of PE, said: “All of the girls have rehearsed tirelessly for the competition, and Megan and Jasmine thoroughly deserved their medals for a fabulously skilled routine.”[/box]

Jasmine’s gymnastics success comes after she took the individual title and helped her team to win the district cross country championship.
