The teams last met on the first game of the season with Stone pulling off a 6-1 win but with midfielder Kim Barber dislocating her knee. Since then the Dominoes dropped in form but are now climbing back up the league with their 5 league win in a row. Stone made hard work of the first half with both teams having spells of possession. Stone took their chances though and were 2-0 up at the break after a goal from Hayley Mason with a Jade Arber corner and Mollie Prime scoring after some quality play from the Dominoes.

After the break, central defender  Simone Kelsall challenged for the ball, winning it and passing it to winger Jade Arber, Jade, who has made quite impact since signing, crossed in the ball for Laura Baskerville to find herself in front of goal, sliding to reach the ball she smashed it into the top corner to make it 3-0.

Leek responded and caught Stone on the break, 3-1. However Stone showed true character and again scored this time with striker Vikki Garner tricking the keeper to dive and slotting it into the bottom right corner. Maria Birkett rounded the scoring up to make it 4-1 and killing the game off. The Stone defence stood solid as Leek had more possession in the last 10minutes however communication and team work gave Stone the 3 points to take them up to joint 2nd in the league.

Player of the match was Rachel Humphreys in goal for the dominoes who had a quiet game however when needed she pulled off some quality saves.
