St. Michael and St. Wulfad’s church are holding a Heritage Day on Saturday 7th October 2017
The evemt will run from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m and visitors will be able to see the 12th century Priory Matrix, the Kempe Windows, go inside the Jervis Mausoleum and learn about the history of the church.
A highlight of the day is that if the weather is good visitors will be able to climb the tower the see the view of the town and surrounding countryside from the top.
In addition during the morning visitors will also be able to see the remains of the 12th century crypt under the private house “The Priory.”
There will also be a exhibition of military items related to Stone.
