This Saturday, 6th October, will see 2018’s Heritage Open Day at St. Michael & St. Wulfad’s Church.

The event will open the church from 10am to 4pm, and there will be guided tours of the Kempe Windows and the church, and an opportunity to see the 12th century seal matrix from Stone Priory.
There will also be the opportunity to tour inside the Jervis Mausoleum, see a display of military memorabilia from Stone and, weather permitting, to climb the church tower to see the wonderful view of Stone and the surrounding countryside.
Admission is free but donations welcome for church funds, however there is the charge of £1 to climb the tower.
