Stone’s Mayor, Cllr Kristan Green, marked the opening of Stone Post Office at a special ceremony today
Following the public opening of the Post Office on Monday, a delegation from Stone Town Council, as well as the new Post Master and regional Post Office management, cut the ribbon to officially open the Post Office.
The new Post Office is located by the pedestrian crossing, opposite Thai Lanna, at 5-7 High Street Stone.
Customers have been without a Post Office in Stone since January 2018 when the Co-op closed their High Street supermarket and with it the Post Office that was housed within it.
Stone Post Office is open six days a week and gives Stone residents, and businesses, access once again to the many services that the Post Office provides.
Well done to all of everyone involved in restoring a Post Office in Stone.
