Plans for a revised customer cafe, new entrance lobby and new barista bar have been approved by Stafford Borough Council.
The new facilities are to be contained within the existing footprint of the Stone store, utilising the canopies on the side and at the front of the store.
The planning application doesn’t specify any changes to the current operating hours of the store or any additional employment opportunities.

The architects of the scheme have said:
“The Café and Barista extensions will enhance the existing customer facilities. The new enclosed lobby extension is located under the existing open canopy and will enhance customer circulation to the store entrance and internal areas.”
